. Maasai, Legends of
Tanzania takes the reader from a world of fantasy and tales to the real world,
to Maasai current life nowadays. Apart from the book, several elements relate
this journey: The French, English and Swahili- official language in Tanzania-
documents and texts, Herman Msole’s paintings, Claire Berbey’s
abstract paintings, Laurent Ruptier’s illustrations, Eric Fayet’s
pictures, an amateur video movie, some sound archives in Maa (Maasai language)
and in Swahili…
This whole universe presented here generates events such as public readings,
conferences, exhibitions etc… All of this comes from one book for grown-ups
and children, making them discover or rediscover the fabulous world of Maasai
people…

- - -> On May 30 and 31 and on June 1, in Montpellier, at ‘La Comédie du livre’, Eric Fayet will sign his book entitled Maasai. Legends of Tanzania in collaboration with the bookshop ‘ Les Cinq Continents’. On this stand, under this nomadic tent located on Esplanade Charles De Gaulle, in front of the tourist information office, this bookstore specialized on travels will host some novelists, travellers/authors, travellers/painters and adventurers.
